The MCA has prolonged the deadline for submitting PAS-03 and 45 company e-forms in MCA 21 Version 3.0 without additional fees.
Following complaints of issues with its MCA21 site, the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) is intending to allow submissions of some business forms in physical format, and persons with knowledge of the situation informed ET.
Companies utilise the site to submit regulatory documents, such as form PAS-3, which must be submitted before they may access investor cash.
Due to modifications in the filing process in MCA Version-3, including a new process of user registration on MCA-21 and the process of stabilization of 45 forms launched with effect from 23.01.2023, and after considering various representations, in continuation of General Circular 1/2023 dated 09.01.2023, it has been decided to give stakeholders an additional 15 days to file these forms without extra charges.

Additionally, Form PAS-03, whose due dates for filing occur between 20.01.2023 and 06.02.2023, can be filed without paying additional costs for a period of 15 days after Version-2 filing was closed on 20.01.2023 and Version-3 started on 23.01.2023.
