The training well worthy for the upcoming GST regime is going in full fledge as the trainers hired for giving the field officers a skill set to tackle the GST, are ready to operate within the GST parameters. The news has been released in the recent latest data (up to December 17) of NACEN, the 75 percent of total projected officers who were to get the mandated training are ready with their training.
To be accurate, the number comes at 44,259 field officers who are ready with the training. The total number was 60,000 officers to which National Academy of Customs, Excise, and Narcotics (NACEN) has responded in the best manner to train them perfectly and timely.
The data regarding the training appeared as 2,060 ‘trainers’ have been trained for the target of 1,600. Likewise, 310 ‘master trainers’ have been skilled, exceeding the target of 300. And 36 officers from the Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) has been trained for all the necessary training.
