As per the officials, Haryana has constantly maintained robust growth in GST revenue.
The state in the previous FY2025-26 recorded the highest growth rate of 22% against the national average of 6%. The consistent increase in GST collections is attributed to the growing economy of Haryana and the effective tax administration in place.
The excise and taxation department has enhanced its enforcement through data analytics, initiated campaigns against fraudulent taxpayers, reinforced compliance measures, and implemented strategies to prevent revenue loss.
To make tax administration more user-friendly, the department has begun sending GST show-cause notices and summary orders via registered and speed post, as well as making them available online, in accordance with the Chief Minister’s Budget 2026-27 announcement.
