The government has tried all sorts of implementation and improvement strategies with the goods and services tax and now the government along with the finance ministry installed a mini War-room within the premises of finance ministry department.
The finance ministry has set up this war room in order to maintain solid preparation against any flow from the sides of upcoming GST scheme which will be implemented from July 1st. The so-called War Room is completely arranged and fitted with numerous telephone lines and high-tech computer systems.
The war room has been set up for all the issues related to GST emerging after the implementation. CBEC chairperson Vanaja Sharma has cleared that this war room is deployed for the purpose of eliminating any doubt or queries regarding the GST of state and central officers.
Any kind of procedural issues can be solved by contacting the war room set up in finance ministry as assured by the chairperson. The state and central officials can directly contact the war room and sort out the issues coming out from GST and also the feedback will be collected from the officers directly from the field of operation.
The chairperson finance ministry Vanaja S Sharma stated that this War room will be available and work for time hours between morning 8 AM till night 10 PM on daily basis in order to facilitate and serve the officers on an uninterrupted basis.
