GST Portal Permits Aadhaar Authentication or Uploading e-KYC Documents

The Goods and Service Tax Network (GSTN) has enabled the option to authenticate the e-KYC or upload Aadhaar Card documents on the GST Portal This informational GSTN portal keeps each and every data that provides the helpful guide about services, registration process, tutorials, GST practitioner guide, payment guide, challan creation and much more” of Partner/ Promoter and Primary Authorised Signatory.

To make sure that the details of the Aadhaar holder are correct it is authenticated through the process of Aadhaar number along with other biometric aspects of the Aadhaar holder are submitted to the Central Identities Data Repository (CIDR). They verify the trueness of the information upon the grounds of the data present with it. The major goal beneath the verification is to build an online platform in which the identity of the Aadhaar holders could be verified anytime and anywhere. This will reduce the evasion of the taxes and other mischievous activities beneath the Goods and Services Tax.

The assessee can use the choice to give the Aadhaar authentication link obtained on their enrolled mobile number. Towards the other option, the assessee can use the new facility to upload the identity proof credentials to finish eKYC.
