The examination of Goods and Services Tax Practitioners (GSTPs) has been conducted by the National Academy of Customs and Indirect Taxes and Narcotics (NACIN) in terms of the second proviso to sub-rule (3) of rule 83 of the Central Goods and Services Tax Rules, 2017. It was conducted on December 12, 2019, at twenty- two centres throughout India. GSTPs who enrolled themselves on the under sub-rule (2) of rule 83 and covered by clause (b) of sub-rule (1) of rule 83.
Individuals who meet the eligibility criteria – registered himself/herself as sales tax practitioners or tax return preparer under the current regime for not less than five years was allowed to appear in the GSTPs exam.
The result of GSTPs has been declared by the officials which cover marks obtained, the name of GSTPs and GSTN Number. A personal email has been sent to all GSTPs who was appeared in the examination as well as listed on Exam Portal at Candidates’ dashboard.
