In order to facilitate proper GST migration of the local dealers, the Belgaum District Small Scale Industries Association (BDSSIA) and Department of Commercial Taxes organized ‘GST Migration Help Desk’ at its office in Udyambag, Belagavi located in Karnataka.

The facility has been organized for the support of the dealers registered under VAT and Entertainment Tax – Luxuries Tax nets to enroll for an easy and smooth transition to the Goods and Services Tax regime.
BDSSIA president Umesh Sharma stated that the help desk will be open until January 15 between 10 a.m. to. 5 p.m. Officials of the Commercial Taxes department will help dealers with migration to GST.
The dealers must carry their Provisional ID received from the State/ Central Government authority, password received from the authority, valid email ID, contact number, bank details with a copy of passbook, photograph, proof of appointing authorised signatory and proof of constitution of the business.
