GSTN Technical Issues

Infosys – the company which provides IT services for GST, was called upon by the Finance Ministry to present the clarification in reference to grievances about the IT system of Goods & Service Tax (GST), on Friday.

As per the FinMin sources, CN Raghupati, Senior Vice-President of Infosys and V Ranganathan, Vice-President were summoned by the FinMin to explain the reasons for not resolving the GSTN system-related technical glitches GSTR 9C is an annual audit form for all the taxpayers registered under GST which are having gross turnover of more than 2 crores in a financial year despite receiving orders & requests for the same for last 4-5 months.

Complaints against the technical issues on the GSTN portal were rising repeatedly from the businesses and the industry as it was becoming time-taking and troublesome for them to file returns.

According to sources, the Fin Min has been frequently called attention by Infosys to the issues being confronted by tax filers during the filing GSTR returns Get to know the online procedure of filing GST returns in India. We provide each and every GST form according to the taxpayers category. Different teething trouble for taxpayers includes the slow processing & functioning of GSTN, delayed or non-delivery of OPT, login error or auto-logout, open file error, network issues/Gateway timeout, OTP problems on email and a few other domains, failure of uploading of GSTR-9C document and so on.

Now, we hope that Infosys to remove these glitches and adopt some more advanced and reliable technologies that can ensure the smooth working of the GSTN portal which will further assure quick and easy filing of returns by the taxpayers.
