Paying heed to the issues stated by the stakeholders, the due date of filing companies’ CRA-4 (Cost Audit Reports) for Financial Year 2018-19 (as per Company Act 2013) has been extended till 29.02.2020 from 24.10.2019 respectively. All such compliance before 29 Feb will be submitted without any additional fees paid by applicant companies.
The extension is officially declared by general circular no. 17/2019 dated 30 December 2019. released by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA). The circular addresses all the regional directors, Registrar of Companies (ROC) and overall eligible firms who are concerned with the process of audit management.

The circular further notifies that the extension granted is sound for the entire cost audit process right from the preparation of Annexures to preparation and submission of the Cost Audit Report by Cost Auditor and finally furnishing the Cost Audit Report for Financial Year 2018-19 with Central Government. The circular is issued with the approval of the competent authority.
