The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has introduced the new job portal (https://jobs4cas.icai.org/) which will assist the finance professionals, semi-qualified professionals in the accounting field and qualified chartered accountant to easily find jobs here.
The official launch of the job portal is scheduled on September 1, although, all accounting professionals are now able to enroll at the job website by furnishing information about the work experience, academic qualifications along with the uploaded CVs.
It is a platform which connects employers and job seekers. Job seekers can fill up for the various vacancies as per their area of interest such as IFRS, cost accounting, audit, and finance.
As mentioned by Dhiraj Kumar Khandelwal of ICAI, “The demand for chartered accountants is growing. We used to place 3,000 candidates in a campus placement now it has doubled to 6,000 candidates. The demand for CAs has increased manifold across segments.”

The ICAI job portal covers detailing of all the members along with the option of video curriculum vitae (CVs), which increases the identification and worth of the CV.
The job postings and registrations are kept free to organizations till August 29. Khandelwal further mentioned that as ICAI heads and controls all professions related to accounts, it has the available authentic database which covers information about the CAs. Further, this portal has been made in order to serve CAs and to provide a one-stop solution to CA job providers and job seekers.
How the ICAI Job Portal Works?
The portal works just like any other job portal out there, but only for CA related jobs. Here are the options provided on the ICAI Job Portal.
Search Job: Job seekers can start searching for a job right on the homepage. Just enter the keyword for the job and other details like preferred location, experience and functional area. Click on the Search button to find the relevant jobs. One can alternatively browse all CA jobs by category as well.
Jobseeker’s login: After creating an account on the job portal, one can sign in to check their applied jobs, update profile details, upload resume and more. It is beneficial to create and update your profile here for many reasons, as employers can check your profile and notify you for a relevant job. Users can also subscribe to receive jobs in your mailbox.
Employer Account: Accounting companies and employers can also create dedicated accounts on the CA job portal in order to post new jobs and find the best talent from the industry. The sign-up process is quite straightforward and the portal is completely free to use.
