A total of ten states maintained a staggering 83 percent of GST e way bill generation ration upon its account as according to the reports. Gujarat is one of the top states to generate GST e way bill among all the other states which are taking the benefits of the E Way Bill.
On the e-way bill portal, a total of 1.84 crore bills have been generated between April 1-22. According to the stats, Gujarat generated Over 34.41 lakh e-way bills while the Karnataka generated around 26.23 lakh e-way bills.
After which Maharashtra comes at third number with 21.06 lakh e-way bills generated and thereafter Uttar Pradesh with over 15.49 lakh e-way bills, Haryana by 14.69 lakh and Delhi by 10.94 lakh bills.
The system has been launched for the intrastate i.e. within the state transportation of goods from 15th April. Till now 12 states have been included in the GST e waybill structure for the intrastate movement or transportation of goods.

While four other states are set to implement GST e waybill from 25th April i.e. Madhya Pradesh, Arunachal Pradesh, Sikkim and Meghalaya, and the Union territory of Puducherry.
