  1. Sir we are dealing with sanitizer, ppe kit, mask sir can you get me the revised hsn and gst rate of ppe kit.

    1. HSN CODE IS 6307.90 AND GST RATE IS 5%
      DETAIL EXPLANATION:-
Recently World custom Organisation prepared jointly with the World Health Organisation (WHO) HS classification reference for Covid-19 medical supplies. It provides a 6307.90 HSN code for the below description:-
“Textile face-masks, without a replaceable filter or mechanical parts, including surgical masks and disposable face-masks made of non-woven textiles. This includes the masks known as N95 Particulate Respirators. Note: the heading also includes N95 respirators with simple exhalation valves as these remain respirator masks and are not gas masks.”
The above description is clear that an N95 mask without a valve or with a valve made of nonwoven textiles will cover under the 6307.90 HSN code.
GST Rate on 6307 is 5%( if sale value not exceeding Rs. 1000 per piece) or
12% (sale value exceeding Rs. 1000 per piece).

      1. HS Code Description GST%
560312 Nonwovens, whether or not impregnated, coated, covered or laminated, n.e.s., of man-made filaments, weighing 25 g/m² but = 70 g/m² ,Products include: Surgical Face Mask 12%

  4. 1. What is the GST rate on Organic agro products?
    2. What is the HSN code for organic products like herbal tea made from all organic products and the GST rate is what?
    3. If some food supplement medicines made from organic products, then is GST applicable on such a product ? If yes how much?

      1. 9020 does not contain normal masks as it excludes masks without mechanical parts and rate there is 12% against 5 mentioned by you. please clarify.

  5. What are the HSN codes of Diagnostic kits? Usually, diagnostic kits are billed at 12% GST, and hand sanitizers are also billed at 12% GST.

    1. It is all confusing no body is clear about this that how much is the GST on Hand Rub/Hand Sanitizers. Some are charging 12% and some are charging 18%. Request to please clarify.
