A total of 12 new features have been added on the official website i.e., Goods and Services Tax Network ( GSTN ) which includes System Generated Acknowledgement of Application of Appeal and the Population of Data from EWB System into Form GSTR-1.
Taxpayers are required to enter the outward details like invoice number, Date, Value Tax and more at the time of generating the E-Way Bill for outward supply.
After the addition of the new feature in the GSTN, all of the taxpayers can easily import these outward supply invoice details as specified in the e-way bill while submitting Form GSTR-1. To avail of this feature, the taxpayers have to click on the import ‘EWB Data’ button on the official website in the following heads:-
- B2B Invoices
- B2C Large Invoices
- HSN-wise summary of Outward supplies
The other new feature that has been added to the portal is ‘An Acknowledgement of Application of Appeal’. Under the GST Regime, taxpayers are required to submit an application to the appellate authority and receive an acknowledgement from him.
