In November gross GST collections have risen 8.5 percent to over Rs 1.82 lakh crore on higher revenues from domestic transactions.
Rs 34,141 crore, is the Central GST collection, State GST at Rs 43,047 crore, Integrated IGST at Rs 91,828 crore, and cess at Rs 13,253 crore, as per the government’s data.
In November Rs 1.82 lakh crore is the surged 8.5% revenue of the total gross Goods and Services Tax (GST) as compared to Rs 1.68 lakh crore in the identical month a year ago.
GST collections in October i.e. Rs 1.87 lakh crore were the second most effective rise with a 9% annual growth. The highest-ever collection was in April 2024 at over Rs 2.10 lakh crore.
In the month under review, GST from domestic transactions surged to 9.4%, to Rs 1.40 lakh crore, and revenues from the import tax surged to 6%, to Rs 42,591 crore.
In the month refunds of Rs 19,259 crore were been issued, enrolling an 8.9% reduction over the year-ago period.
Net GST collection after adjusting refunds, increased by 11 per cent to Rs 1.63 lakh crore.
