The government has urged the businesses to register themselves online for GST instead of seeking external agencies or third party services after the GST registration expiry on April 30.
“Better register online for GST yourself instead of taking agencies’ or other companies’ help,” Service Tax-I Commissionerate North Division official Ashutosh Sharma said during a GST migration camp organised by CII.
“Should you face any problem while registering, feel free to approach us for easier and faster solutions,” he said adding that businesses are advised to adhere to the extended deadline of April 30 for GST enrollment.
Mostly the MSME sector raised problems and concerns about the GST registration process. The registration for GST is important for all existing taxpayers. The migration process is done for the transfer from one tax to another. The enrollment is mandatory for every taxpayer irrespective of their turnover. Even the business with the less than 20 lakh has to register.
