May 2023 Due Date of GSTR 3B Extended for Gujarat’s Districts

May 2023 Due Date of GSTR 3B for Gujarat Districts

Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) mentioned on central tax notification that Form GSTR-3B’s due date is extended to May 2023 on or before the 30th day of June month for many Gujarat districts such as Kutch, Jamnagar, Morbi, Patan and Banaskantha.

The taxpayers whose average turnover is up to and more than INR 5 crore in the preceding fiscal year must file in Form GSTR-3B. It is for the 20th day of the succeeding month stated the CBIC. Also, it said that the principal business is in following Gujarat’s districts such as Kutch, Jamnagar, Morbi, Patan and Banaskantha.

The CBIC has extended the due date due to Cyclone Biparjoy. The cyclone has flooded several districts of Gujarat and Rajasthan. It is a helpful decision from the business perspective. The businesses can collect the required documents as the time limit is extended to 10 more days by the Indian government.

  1. Is a late fee applicable for October 2020? my company not filed GSTR 3B for the month of October 2020 .is there any late fee, if yes how much per day. please help me out

  2. As we know the 20th day of next month is the last day for filing GSTR 3B for the individual companies. Is there a change in October’s (2020) GSTR 3B filing date, which means today is the last day for its filing.

  3. Regardless of the state if your turnover was more than 5.0 Crore then you have to file the return on the 20th of next month
