The notice illustrates the “Functionality Deployment Report – October 2025” released by the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC). The report shows various technical upgrades and operational improvements desired to make tax administration stronger and enhance operational efficiency under the GST system.
As per the notice, the updates include multiple modules on the GST platform, which consist of appeals management and audit processes. One of the developments is pertinent to the integration of GST systems with the Goods and Services Tax Appellate Tribunal (GSTAT) structure.
