The Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) incorporates the SAMAY application for timely litigation management.
The meeting was conducted between the Chief Commissioners and the CBIC Chairman. A legal cell of the CBIC has made the presentation on the application SAMAY (Systematic Adherence and MAnagement of Timelines for rendering results in litigation).
SAMAY which is an online portal to track the SLP/CA proposal has been initiated and can be accessed via the DLA website for use at the Board, Chief Commissioner, and Commissioner levels.

All CESTAT orders along with the High courts and the department decisions are fetched by SAMAY application. Anytime it prompts the pendency of the orders that are either under process at distinct levels or are waiting to process at the commissionerate level. The jurisdictional commissionerates to add the new orders are needed to visit the website of CESTAT and High courts on a day-to-day basis for downloading the orders related to their jurisdiction to enter that in the application of SAMAY.
