A letter has been passed to the Chairman of Central Board of Excise and Customs Najeeb Shah in which the association has described some of the common points of the distress situation arose due to the GST implementation. The statement said that “with GST, the tax base would only increase, which would mean work for more people. Notwithstanding the assurances, the unease is only likely to grow.”
