The GST SAHAJ form (RET 2) is the quarterly filing forms which basically deals in the business to customer (B2C) transactions. The customer will have to file the latest RET 2 form and can also file the NIL return through the SMS. Also the in the GST SAHAJ form, there is no need to put the capital input.
The GST SUGAM form or the RET 3 form is also needed to file on every quarterly basis. Also, the taxpayers or business dealing in both business to customer and business to business transactions have to fill this form. Various topics related to Prototype on New Return including the GST ANX-1: Annexure of supplies, GST ANX-2: Annexure of inward supplies and Matching tool, will be scrutinized and explained in the online session.
This seminar aims to familiarise the taxpayers with the new and simplified return filing system before its consequent roll-out. The stakeholders will have a glance on how the new return filing system will look like and how they can use functionality like drop-down menus, invoice upload, upload of purchase register for matching with the system generated inward supplies. GSTN has also sought feedback from stakeholders on the proposed offline tool.
