Chennai: Goods and Services Tax Bill is a strong yet simple platform in India, which can deal with the import/export of goods inside the state boundaries, said the industry body Assocham denoting GST as the ‘Brahmastra’ of the country.
The Indian economist and currently chairperson of the Forum of Federations, Mr. Vijay Kelkar believes that the introduction of Goods and Services Tax (GST) will play an important role to push the economic growth of India rapidly.
Goods and Services Tax is the most important taxation reform in India since independence as it breaks the currently indirect tax regime and makes a single market for a dozen state levies. Every newspaper is making a headline about the GST at their front page.
GST Stands for Good and Services Tax that is a vital regime of India. It is the biggest indirect tax reform since independence. It would be levied when a consumer will buy a good and service.
