The GST department has recently prepared a complete list of taxpayers from 9 districts earmarking 8 thousand such firm owners who are not filing GST returns from last one year.
These firms were earlier given multiple notices to file GST returns on a regular basis but there was no positive response from them. So now the Rohtak GST commissionerate have formed an action team to collect 100 percent GST penalty.
While the commissionerate has again alarmed these taxpayers to file GST returns and to come back on track as soon as possible and avoid any additional penalty.
Districts such as Sirsa, Fatehabad, Hisar, Bhiwani Charkhi Dadri, Jind, Rohtak, Jhajjar and Sonipat accommodate these traders who are alleged of not filing GST returns.
The officials told that according to the GST act section 122 if the firm or the taxpayers don’t file GST return for more than 3 months than he has to pay pending taxes along with 100 percent penalty on the taxes accrued.
The late fee for pending GST returns is 100 rs per day and the list of non-filers have reached 8 thousand till now. These taxpayers are been continuously asked to file return through SMS, email but they are not paying attention.

These taxpayers have majorly not filed GSTR 3B returns which requires whole month details and if the taxpayer does not file the return he has to pay penalty from 50 to 100 per day.
KINDLY GIVE ONE CHANCE TO FILE 3B RETURNS WITHOUT LATE FEE MANY DEALERS COULD NOT FILE DUE TO HEAVY LATE FEE PLS WAIVE THE SAME TO EASE COMPLIANCE.
