Sushil Modi said that since the implementation of the GST system in the country, the total number of registered taxpayers in it reaches 1.21 crore. In it, 66.79 lakh are newly registered taxpayers.

According to him, many states have started the work of taking and collecting information of these taxpayers by reaching their premises, geo-tagging and uploading photographs of their workplaces from mobile to their computer system.
