Definition of SRN Under MCA
There is a requirement for every company to file the e-forms with the ROC (Registrar of Companies) through the Ministry of Company Affairs (MCA) website. And just after the submission of forms as well as the payment of MCA website fees, the individual will be getting the form, i.e. challan copy or receipt acknowledgement.
Service Request Number is also available and would be printed on the left-hand side of the challan copy of the receipt and it is a unique nine-character alphanumeric string that is allotted with every e-form filed on the website of MCA. The company via SRN will be able to check and track the transactions.
MCA New Amendment in SRN for Stakeholders
All the stakeholders are said to note that the registrar of companies and all the regional directors of the ministry of corporate affairs at all the locations are being rendered through the ministry to proceed with all cases of objections with respect to the companies and the LLPs, Inspections, Inquiries, Investigations, and Prosecutions in the MCA Electronic registry i.e., MCA21 before issuing any letter, notice, order, and others.
Hence a Service Request Number (SRN) is generated. They rendered to mention this SRN essentially in all these communications to firms LLPs their officers, auditors, and others on all communications.
Hence all stakeholders are informed to treat such communication obtained without SRN as unauthorized that required not to be answered. Any example of this communication obtained without mentioning the SRN might be drawn to the notice of the office of the Director-General of Corporate Officer (DGCoA) at email mailto:dgcoa@mca.gov.in as well as with the copy of the communication.
