There are nearly 56 forms that shall be migrated to the new portal in the subsequent month in 2 stages. Since there are 10 forms that would arrive on the new portal dated 9th January along with the applications for the reservations of the name for the start of the new firm and the revision in the name of the current firm and for the GST identification number.

On the new portal by January 23, the additional 46 forms is being incorporated along with those concerning the directors, the start of the business, and the conversion of the public company into a private firm or the private company into a public company or the conversion of the unlimited liability company into Limited Liability Company.

The ministry mentioned that “In our continuous endeavor to serve you better, the Ministry of Corporate Affairs is launching a second set of Company Forms covering 56 forms in two different lots on the MCA21 V3 portal,” moreover for the forthcoming start of the 56 company forms, the V3 portal shall not be available from 7th January 12:00 AM to January 8, 2023, 11:59 pm due to 10 company forms roll-out and from January 21, 2023, to January 22, 2023, for 46 company forms roll-out.

At the current time, the 9 firms’ forms would be available on the new portal and the remaining would need to get furnsihed on the V2 portal.

The MCA21 portal’s Version 3 or V3 portal is an updated version with the goal of greater service facilities and data analytics utilization. While some of the business files were operationalized in August of this year, the LLP module was introduced in April. Trade and business are crossing their fingers for a smooth transition even though the administration is optimistic about the new forms. Stakeholders point out that there are still some kinks in the LLP module.

Tax expert mentioned that “All forms will now migrate to the new portal. But transition problems are still there. For instance, sometimes, stakeholders are not able to download forms after filling in all the details. The payment gateway also shows some errors,”
