What is the Method by Which I Furnish Form LLP 15?

MCA LLP 15 form is needed to be furnished with Registrar through which the LLP has intended to transform its enrolled office with a copy thereof for the data to the registrar beneath whose jurisdiction the enrolled office is suggested to be shifted. There is no need for public notice.

Online Process to File LLP 15 Form on V3 Portal

Initial Submission: Option 1

Step 1: Go to the MCA homepage

Step 2: Log in to the MCA portal with the valid credentials 1

Step 3: Choose the MCA services and choose e-filing. 

Step 4: Choose the LLP (Limited Liability Partnership) forms to download

Step 5: Navigate to the header address of the concerned filings

Step 6: Move to the notice for the amendment of the place of the enrolled address.

Step 7: Insert LLP information 2

Step 8: Through the search option (optional)3 search LLPIN.

Step 9: Choose LLPIN form via dropdown option (optional)4.

Step 10: Fill out the application

Step 11: Save the webform as a draft (optional)5

Step 12: Submit the webform 

Step 13: SRN is generated on the submission of the webform (The user could use the SRN towards any subsequent correspondence with MCA).

Step 14: Affix the DSC

Step 15: Upload the DSC affixed pdf document on the MCA portal. 

Step 16: Furnish the fees when the user does not successfully upload the DSC affixed PDF within 15 days of SRN (Service Request Number) generation and finish the payment in 7 days of successful upload of DSC affixed document or last date of furnishing of the form + 2 days, whichever is before, the SRN will be cancelled.

Step 17: Generation of acknowledgement

Initial Submission: Option 2

Step 1: Go to the MCA homepage

Step 2: Go to LLP Form no 15 via the search bar on the MCA homepage (website search) 6

Step 3: Insert credentials to the MCA portal

Step 4: Insert LLP information 2

Step 5: Through the search option (optional)3 search the LLPIN

Step 6: Choose the LLPIN form via the dropdown option (optional)4

Step 7: Fill out the application

Step 8: Save the webform as a draft (optional)

  • In case Option 1 is chosen, the user shall pose an option to either log in just after moving to the MCA homepage, or login post to choose the reporting of the amendment in address if the user is not being logged in.
  • In case the user furnishes the webform is an LLP user, LLPIN and LLP names will be auto-populated relying on the user id through which the user logs in.
  • If the user filing the webform count as a Professional user then a search option shall be given on the page permitting the user to search for the LLPIN grounds name of LLP.
  • For the case the user filing the webform is any additional business user, a dropdown option posing a list of all the LLPINs and respective LLP names for the LLPs in which the user is linked would get shown. 
  • The option to secure the webform as a draft will be enabled once the user inserts the LLPIN.
  • In case option 2 is chosen then the user would have the choice to either login immediately post to access the MCA homepage or login post to perform the website search.

Step 9: Submit the webform

Step 10: SRN is generated on the submission of the webform (The SRN could be used via user for any subsequent parallel with MCA)

Step 11: DSC is to be affixed

Step 12: Upload the DSC Affixed pdf document on the MCA portal

Step 13: Furnish the fees for the case when the user does not upload the DSC affixed pdf in 15 days of the SRN generation and finish the payment in 7 days of the upload of the DSC affixed document or the last filing date of the form +2 days, whichever is before, the SRN would get cancelled

Step 14: Generation of acknowledgement

Resubmission: Option 1

Step 1: Go to the MCA homepage

Step 2: Insert the credentials of the MCA portal

Step 3: See the application history via the user dashboard

Step 4: Choose the Form 15 application with the status of resubmission needed

Step 5: Fill out the application

Step 6: Save the webform as a draft (optional)

Step 7: Submit the webform 

Step 8: SRN gets updated

Step 9: DSC to be affixed

Step 10: Upload the DSC affixed pdf document on the MCA portal 7.

Step 11: Resubmission of webform when the user does not finish the resubmission of the form and Upload the DSC affixed pdf document within 24 hours of the SRN update, an SMS along with the email reminder would get sent to the user daily for 15 days or till the time of submission.

Step 12: Generation of acknowledgement

Attachments for MCA LLP 15 Form

It is mandatory to attach the Proof of the changed address of the registered office. Either ‘Copy of the minutes of decision/ resolution/ consent of partners’ or The extracts related to the law of the limited liability partnership agreement is to be given as an essential attachment.

For the case when the change of the place of the enrolled office from one state to another, it is essential to enclose the copies of the public notice and approval of the secured creditors. Additional information could be given as an optional attachment. 

Digital Signature for the Partner

The e-Form must be digitally signed through the designated partner of the LLP. insert the Designated Partner identification number (DPIN) of the DP.

LLP Form 15 Certificate

The e-form must be certified by CA (in whole-time practice) or cost accountant (in whole-time practice) or company secretary (in whole-time practice) by digitally signing the eForm. Choose the related category of the professional and if he or she is an associate or fellow. For the case, the professional is a CA (in whole-time practice) or cost accountant (in whole-time practice) insert the membership number. Insert the certificate of practice number when the practising professional is a company secretary (in whole-time practice).
