The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) is going to start certification course on GST. The certification courses will specifically be for girls and will be conducted in 70 girls colleges across the country. The five training course will commence from July 1 and at the end of the course girls will be given a special certificate as GST expert.
Most of the universities are adding courses related to goods and services tax by both duration and syllabus. GST impact on education sector is more detailed and widely spread across India as there more and more colleges which are providing GST enabled courses to the student for their better future prospect.
The information was shared by CA Mukesh Singh Kushwaha, Central Council Member ICAI, during a special program in Bhopal. Speaking on the occasion, he said that annual Commerce Wizards organized each year across the country aims to reach one lakh registrations this year.
The first level of the Commerce Wizard will be held on December 16, while the second level will be on December 23.

The Commerce Wizard is organized annually to popularize commerce subject among students as well as inspire them to take up the CA Profession. Students from standard 9 to graduation can take part in the commerce wizard.
Mock Tests are available online. Interested students can visit the Commerce Wizard’s official website at www.icw.icai.org. In addition to this, the ICAI will promote 75 children of families serving in the Railways and the Army to come to take up Chartered Accountancy profession. For this, ICAI will give up to 50 percent fee concession to these students.
