High-power Board Suggestion for More GST Revenue

CM of Madhya Pradesh Shivraj Singh Chouhan mentioned that the same is essential to increase the GST revenue for making the states to get progressed effectively. For the same, the high power committee made to recommend the procedure to increase GST revenue would make the effective recommendations post taking out the proper study.

Chouhan mentioned that it is done so to increase assessee. He said to build a roadmap to execute various recommendations in just 3 months.

The chief minister provides the report of the high power committee on rising GST revenue via VC at his residence. Finance and commercial taxes minister Jagdish Deora, secretary to chief minister M Selvandram and relates that the officers were present. Chief secretary Iqbal Singh Bains and members of the high-power committee virtually joined the program via Mantralaya.

The same mentioned that through the suggestion from the committee the assessee would obtain ease in furnishing the taxes. The suggestions would be made a post to the comparative study of additional states. To have a good performance of the states the same would be asked to add new assessee to increase the tax base and raise tax base through the additional database. The tax collections would be suggested via existing assessee under their correct tax liability.
