GSTN Grants Permission to IndusInd Bank for GST Payments

GST Portal Lists IndusInd Bank for Tax Payments

Payments on the Goods and Services Tax (GST) Portal using IndusInd Bank Account credentials have been enabled by the Goods and Services Tax Network ( GSTN ).

The Goods and Services Tax ( GST ) portal on January 5, 2024, was enabled with an updated feature. Through the mode of debit or credit card via Kotak Mahindra Payment Gateway, the GST payers could now make their payments.

The portal from that time exclusively accommodated cards via Kotak Mahindra Gateway, with the chance of expanding the list of acceptable variations of Credit Cards shortly.

The portal provides online as well as offline payment methods. At the time of generating the GST challan (PMT-06), businesses need to choose a particular mode of GST payment. The decision must be on the grounds of factors like the time available to file the GST return before the deadline, convenience, the chosen banker, and other pertinent considerations.

The ongoing integration of the IndusInd Bank permits the users to settle their GST liabilities via their IndusInd Bank accounts through Net Banking, available both online and at all IndusInd Bank branches.
