GSTN Introduces New e-Invoice Exemption Declaration Functionality

GST e-Invoice Exemption Declaration Functionality

On the 24th of July 2023, the exemption declaration functionality would have been live on the e-invoice portal, GSTN stated.

This feature is intended for taxpayers who have e-invoicing enabled by default but are excluded from applying it under the CGST (Central Goods and Services Tax) Rules.

The GSTN advisory mentioned that the utility to report the exemption declaration would be for the ease of the business objectives. On 29th June 2023, the GSTN would have furnished an advisory for the online compliance related to the liability/difference that appears in GSTR1 – R3B (DRC-01B).
