Recently as notified by the CBIC, the E Way Bill for intrastate movement of goods is going to be launched on 20th May 2018 for Rajasthan state. This step will further advance the e-way bill system in the nation. GST e-way bill notification for the Rajasthan state has been scheduled and was informed by the GST council through a press release.
The decision has been taken by GST council to roll out the intrastate movement of goods to be linked with GST E Way Bill. The e-way bill has been rolled out from 1st April 2018, and till 13th May 2018, it has been rolled out in the states and the union territories like Puducherry, Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Haryana, Bihar, Arunachal Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Meghalaya, Sikkim, Nagaland, Tripura and Uttarakhand.
GST E Way Bill is an electronically generated bill system which is important to be carried along with the products with value more than 50,000 rupees. All the goods transported through mechanical vehicle except non-motorized vehicles are liable to carry E Way Bill with the driver.
And in the latest notification issued in the latest, the GST E Way bill for intrastate movement of goods will be implemented from 20th May 2018 in Rajasthan.
Upon implementation of GST e-way bill in the states, there will be ease of doing business across the states of India. It is known that the GST e-way bill was rolled in different phases starting from 1st April 2018.
