According to the plans for rolling out significant GST E Way Bill system for the intrastate transportation of goods, it is the time to roll out the 3rd phase of GST for the states like Arunachal Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Meghalaya, Sikkim, and Puducherry from 25th April 2018.
The GST E Way bill is already under implementation in most of the states of India including, Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Gujarat, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Kerala, Telangana, Tripura, Uttarakhand, and Uttar Pradesh.

According to a government statement, it was said that “With the roll-out of e-way bill system in these States/union territory, it is expected that trade and industry will be further facilitated insofar as the transport of goods is concerned, thereby eventually paving the way for a nation-wide single e-waybill system.”
The goods and services tax was implemented on 1st July 2017 to take place of earlier VAT regime. With this, the government and GST council also applied E Way Bill to take care of all the goods transported and having the value of more than 50,000.
It was known that the GST E Way Bill was rolled on 1st April in given states according to the pre-decided schedule and in a phased manner.
