The inclusion of the Intelligence Department in tax administration means that the Excise and Taxation Department will now be able to keep an eye on the firms, dealers and companies operating in Chandigarh and have a descriptive of their previous tax compliance. AETC RK Choudhary claimed that the intelligence department will contribute to finding out the unscrupulous taxpayers whose activities stimulate tax evasion in Chandigarh.
