The ruling BJP is gearing up to take a next step towards the GST bill. In upcoming week, the government may meeting with Congress once again to discuss on the Constitution Amendment bill to roll out the GST in the Rajya Sabha Parliament (the bill already passed in Lok Sabha). The Finance Minister Mr. Arun Jaitley said that “meeting ground” with the Congress regarding the objection of main opposition party. All leader of NDA system are indicating to hold next meeting. Therefore, next meeting between Congress and BJP may hold next week.

On the other side, the congress continued to fracture the Upper House on Friday by taking the issues of National Herald case. The leader of the Congress, Ghulam Nabi Azad indicated that our party was not resisting on the National Herald case in the court. He said, “Stalling of Parliament is not related to the National Herald case in court. This is the impression created (in the media).”
Mr. Azad further added, “The proceedings were stalled later for three days and the reasons are different.”
According to the government, the opposition party is not stopping the Rajya Sabha on the N.H case and these all efforts were being made to meet with the opposition regarding the GST Bill. As per the chief sources, the FM Jaitley and affairs minister M V Naidu may hold a meeting with the some chief leader of opposition.
A Union Minister told, “At least one meeting between senior Union ministers and top leaders of the Congress is likely sometime next week. No date has been fixed yet.”
