Grievance Redressal in Principal CCIT Region
Especially for your complaints, Grievance Redressal in the Principal CCIT Region or Unified Grievance Handling System is on duty to online launch a report with the help of e-redress. You can file a complaint in case if there is any trace of harassment, misbehave or delay in forwarding your file from the officer’s side.
How to File a Complaint Against an IT Officer?
Let’s have a look at quick steps to file an online complaint against any inconvenience from the department or from the tax officers:
- Visit www.incometaxindia.gov.in and click on ‘Contact Us’ visible on the dashboard
- Inside you will find guidelines related to various tax issues faced by the filer
- Select Grievance Redressal in the Principal CCIT Region option visible on-screen → Select from the list, the name of your state
- After selecting the state, you will land on the list of ‘zones’ → Select your Zone from the list
- You will now come across the list of all the Income Tax officers operating in your area with the details of their phone numbers and email id. You can now compliant
Launch a Complaint with the Help of e-Nivaran:
- Visit the income tax official website www.incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in
- On the homepage, go to the e-Nivaran scheme option
- Here you can file a new complaint or you can check the status of the previously filed complaints
Click on the ‘e-Nivaran’ link, which is the online grievance redressal portal of the income tax department. Register yourself with the portal using your PAN card and other personal details. Fill in the necessary details related to your grievance, such as assessment year, tax amount, and issue faced.

No action has been taken on my request for deactivating duplicate PAN Card ######### from aadhar.
I have surrendered my duplicate PAN on 5 months before but still no action has taken. Im continuously visiting office twice in every month but they keep on saying they are all busy with their activities.
Are we not working professionals or don’t we have any work. I have met public relational officer and explained my difficulties politely and she simply said they have other priority works.
If they are busy with their activities then where can I get a solution for my issue. Can anyone pls suggest.

I was an NRI for the period from 2004 t0 2018 after coming back to India in 2019 I have declared that I am Resident of India and my Two NRE accounts got converted to Normal SB Account
Recently i have Received a notice under 148 for the escapement of IT Return for the FY 2017-2018 in the mentioned period all my transactions are under NRE i have clearly mentioned the account was under NRE Status but Straight away they issued 148 i have all the documents to prove that I was an NRI can i get help regarding this
