Due Date Extended for AOC-4, AOC-4 (CFS), AOC-4 XBRL & MGT-7/7A

The Ministry of Corporate Affairs has recently brought the much-needed relief by extending the dates for the 5 important e-forms with the removal of additional fees on the e-forms, including AOC-4, AOC-4 (CFS), AOC-4, AOC-4 XBRL, AOC-4 Non-XBRL, and MGT-7 / MGT-7A, filing related to the FY 2024-25 under the concerned Companies Act 2013.

As per General Circular No. 06/2025, dated 17th October 2025, the Ministry has deployed new versions of several e-forms, including MGT-7, MGT-7A, AOC-4, AOC-4 CFS, AOC-4 NBFC (Ind AS), AOC-4 CFS NBFC (Ind AS), and AOC-4 (XBRL) on the MCA-21 Version 3 portal.

The government has authorised the completion of all annual filings up to 31st December 2025, without any additional fees, to permit companies enough time to adapt to the updated forms and filing procedures.

As per the circular, the same relaxation does not extend the regulatory due date for holding Annual General Meetings (AGMs) under the Companies Act, 2013. Under the Act, the companies that are unable to follow the AGM timeliness will face legal action.

With the approval of the competent authority by Dr. Amit Kumar, Deputy Director (Policy), MCA, the order was issued.
