A notice has been furnished by Odisha Tax advocates associations to CBDT towards denying the extension of the last date to furnish the income tax returns of Odisha towards the AY 2021-22 post 31/12/2021 as well as levied the late filing fee beneath section 234F of the Income Tax Act, 1961 despite various technical issues inside the new portal of the income tax department.
A legal notice on the grounds of the Odisha Tax Advocates Association, Regd. Office:-CTBA Centre, Sector-2, CDA, Markat Nagar, Cuttack-753014 expressed via its General Secretary Shri Bibekananda Mohanti for denying to prolong the last date of furnishing the returns of the taxpayers of Odisha for the Assessment Year: 2021-2022 after 31/12/2021 & charging late ITR filing fee under section 234F of the Income-tax Act,1961 despite various issues related to technicals in the upgraded portal of the department of income tax.
