Delhi South GST Commissionerate Trade Notice No. 20/2026

The Office of the Principal Commissioner of CGST, Delhi South Commissionerate, has published a Trade Notice No. 20 of 2026. This notice helps to inform taxpayers, industry stakeholders, and field officers about the current enhancements executed on the GST portal.

The notice illustrates the “Functionality Deployment Report – October 2025” released by the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC). The report shows various technical upgrades and operational improvements desired to make tax administration stronger and enhance operational efficiency under the GST system.

As per the notice, the updates include multiple modules on the GST platform, which consist of appeals management and audit processes. One of the developments is pertinent to the integration of GST systems with the Goods and Services Tax Appellate Tribunal (GSTAT) structure. The update consists of revisions of the officer list API to support tribunal-pertinent procedure.

New features are rolled out in the audit module to streamline multiple case allocation and assignment. Now the system permits audit case requests to be manually assigned via choosing the related officer from a dropdown menu, furnishing effective flexibility and administrative regulation for tax authorities.

Such updates come under the current measures of the government to enhance the digital infrastructure of GST administration and facilitate interactions between taxpayers and tax officials.

Taxpayers, businesses and field officers must regulate such revisions and ensure compliance with the updated system operations. The department has promoted stakeholders to stay updated regarding the upcoming updates to the GST portal, as the system shall evolve successively.
