A blazing event in the historically important Central Hall of Parliament will be filled up with all those big names in politics and power today midnight on the eve of launching the India’s biggest tax reform i.e. Goods and services tax with a bell to sound a great initiative for a prosperous economy.
Just like the last 1997 event on accounting golden jubilee of independence, this time again the circular central hall will be hosting a mega event for the launch of GST. The two big leaders Prime Minister Narendra Modi and honourable President of India Pranab Mukherjee will be there to receive the tax scheme and will make it grand by every meaning.
Now coming to the other big names who will be attending this big event is the Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan who is also the brand ambassador of GST along with the legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar. While on the political front, BJP president Amit Shah and former finance minister Yashwant Sinha will be there at the event.

Former Punjab chief minister Prakash Singh Badal, National Conference leader Abdul Rahim Rather, Former GST Council chairman Sushil Kumar Modi, former finance ministers of West Bengal, Kerala Asim Dasgupta and KK Mani, RBI Governor Urjit Patel along with Bimal Jalan, YV Reddy and D Subbarao are the major personalities who will be visiting the event.
GST is a mega event for both BJP and the Indian economy on the pretext of its wide impact on the growth. Earlier the Vigyan Bhawan was expected to see the GST launch but the central hall of parliament was a better fitment of this event according to its historic importance.
