VAT, Entry & Entertainment Tax Exclusion Determined After GST

In an answer to BJD MLA Prafulla Samal, State Finance Minister Pradip Amat said after GST roll out it would prompt to the invalidation of VAT and sales assets on critical things with the exception of unrefined petroleum, petrol, diesel, air fuel, common gas etc.

An aggregate of Rs 14,966 crores 65 lakh have been gathered as charges from salary, sales, VAT, amusement categories in the money related 2015-16. Out of that 12,211 crores, 26 lakh have been gathered as VAT while 885 crores 63 lakh have been gathered as Central Sales Tax. 30 crore 96 lakh as amusement duty, 1662 crore 99 lakh as entry assessment and 175 crores 71 lakh as income expense have been likewise gathered amid the money related year 2015-16.
