RKVPS Protest: Remove Pulse Stock Limit & GST E-way Bill or Else Face Consequences

Ahead of Goods and services tax, the Rajasthan trade body has come forward and demanded from the central and state government to fully resolve the concerned issues of GST under the time period of 15 days or less. Failing of which will lead to an uncertain scenario, the trade body warned this to the ministry and higher officials.

The traders association and its members were furious for various reasons and mentioned some serious issues which must resolve as soon as possible. According to the demands raised by the trade, the body includes, ease the operational and overall structure of the upcoming goods and service tax. The trade body also asserted on some other issues like service tax on Agri commodities produced in farming should be taken down immediately. Along with the service tax issue, the trade body asked for total abolishment of urban development tax and removing of Mandi license over the food license procedure.

Other issues which demanded immediate resolution included VAT mismatch and Pulse stock limit removal. The trade union was very much serious about this topic and is in no mood to negotiate with anything less. The trade body claimed that after 15 days, the union will again meet for the resolution and will take serious actions including total shut down of the business unit.

In a twist towards the newly proposed GST E-way bill opposition, the Rajasthan Trade body also mentioned in the protest that the E-way introduction will bring the inspector raj again and will cause negative consequences. The limit of 50 thousand is very less and must be discarded from the GST bill.
