However, suppliers yet not started passing benefits to the consumers that they acquiring from input tax credits- which is connected to high taxation rates and higher prices for customers.

Taxpayers have to Choose GST Composition Scheme by July 21

GST has been implemented in India and is now making all the businesses compatible with it rapidly. Recently, a new announcement has been made by the GST Network, according to which, every small business across the country with the turnover of up to Rs 75 lakh can opt for composition scheme under Goods and Service Tax regime by July 21.

After so many chaos and confusion Goods and Services Tax (GST) Regime has been implemented across the country on 1st July. Finance Ministry on Friday has cleared that the education sector will not be affected by the implementation of this new regime and no tax will be levied on the educational services.

GST Council Offers Time Limit for Old Stock Credit

The government has finally taken a step towards the clarification of backdated tax credit being due within the transition towards GST scheme. In the latest notification, it is said that all the retailers and traders can declare filing within 90 days and claim a tax credit for transitioning of the stock after the implementation of the GST.
