Maharashtra State Ranks Top In GST E Way Bill Generation in Nov 2018

As per the data provided by the Goods and services tax network, it was revealed the most GST E-way bill generating states of India in the month of November.

According to the statistics, Maharashtra generated a total of 13 percent GST e-way bills from the total scenario of bill generated while on the grounds of Interstate level it generated 12 percent GST e-way bills out of the complete bills generated

On the intrastate level, Maharashtra generated 14 percent GST e-way bill. Coming to the second state Gujarat, it had generated almost 9 percent GST e-way bills in total while interstate e-way bills were around 13 percent and 7 percent of intrastate GST e-way bills.

The third state in the list comes the Tamil Nadu, which generated 9 percent GST e-way bills in total while 8 percent e-way bills in the interstate category and 9 percent in the intrastate level.

The fourth state in the list comes to the Karnataka which generated almost 8 percent of GST e-way bill in the entire country with 6 percent being interstate e-way bills and 10 percent of intrastate e-way bills.

Last but not least, Haryana comes here which generated around 8 percent of GST e-way bills in total and 9 percent in the interstate category and 7 percent e-way bills in the intrastate category.

It is to be noted that the total number of GST e-way bills generated in the month of November till 20th is 2,93,33,509.
