The Haryana government has changed the State Goods and Services Tax (GST) Regulations through a notification, allowing Joint Commissioners of State Tax to hear GST Appeals.
The notification states that-: Resulting in the creation of the posts of Joint Commissioner of State Tax (Appeals) at Gurugram and Hisar by the Haryana Governor, the former orders for the appointment of Joint Commissioners of State Tax (Appeals) for the State of Haryana issued vide Endst. No.112664-ET-4/2022/470, Chandigarh, on 03.02.2022 for the objectives of hearing appeals as referred in section 107 of the said Act read with Rule of rules framed thereunder are partially revised.
Any person who is dissatisfied with a decision or order made under the Haryana Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017, or the Central Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017, and whose place of business is located in one of the districts listed in column (3) of the Table in the document below, may file an appeal with the Joint Commissioner of State Tax (Appeals) listed in column (2) of the Table.
Any person who disagrees with a decision or order rendered by one of the appropriate officers working out of the Ilead office may appeal it to the Joint Commissioner of State Tax (Appeals), located in Ambala.
