The DGGI Officers received a notice from Gujarat High Court for allegedly forcing and threatening to transfer a total of INR 2.68 Crore through the mean of DRC-03.
This is yet another case in the list where some serious allegations of harassment, coercion, intimidation, etc. have been made against the respondent authorities. In this matter, a search has been conducted as per section 67 of the Act at the writ Applicant’s premises and during the search and during it respondents allegedly caused undue harassment to the applicant.
In this matter, it was alleged that the respondents had forced and threatened the writ applicant to transfer a total of INR 2.68 Crore through the GST DRC-03 form 
The division bench consisting of Justices J.B.Pardiwala and Justice Ilesh J. Vora ordered to issue a notice to the respondents, returnable on February 16, 2021. The respondents will be served through email directly, however, ordinary Direct Service is also allowed.
