“Embracing the spirit of cooperative federalism as exemplified by GST, this conference serves as a valuable platform for both Centre and state GST enforcement authorities to share best practices, foster mutual learning, and collectively strengthen the GST administration,” as per the statement from the finance ministry.

It will also facilitate developing collaboration and promote more amazing synergy between state and central enforcement authorities, assuring a unified and extensive approach.

It is to be anticipated in the meeting to analyze the advanced technological tools and data analytics potential to increase the preciseness and efficiency of the efforts of the enforcement. Big data and artificial intelligence methods are initiated by the Department of Revenue to enhance surveillance and plug loopholes.

By 12.5% year-on-year gross GST revenue has surged to Rs 1.7 lakh cr in February month upholding the effective pace in the receipts as the growth remains stronger.
