According to a press release officially, it mentioned that all the respective dealers who have got their provisional ID and passwords from the department of taxes should enroll themselves in the GST portal and submit the application for enrollment for the same. The Commercial Taxes department assured that the data migration to the GST Portal shall be completed by 15th January 2017.
The department has also provided the address link www.gst.gov.in on which the registration and enrollment have to be done, while in the case of non-receiving of provisional ID and password, the department told that the same will be provided in the second phase.
The department requested all the tax agents to help and extend their services to all the dealers and merchants for the process of GST enrollment as it will be very helpful and also assist in building the GST network better and faster. This aid of tax agents will be analyzed and awarded on the basis of their performance and active participation by a certificate. As of now, the registration of GST is just a process into the whole structure and the taxation will continue to include in the VAT Act as the government didn’t announce the GST implementation.
