Customers Getting Phone Bills Late Hold by GST

As soon as the GST implemented it has given a reasonable time to the telecom companies to make a delay in their billing cycle, as many of the postpaid and corporate billings were generated Lately. it was a conclusive task for the company’s to ascertain the overall impact of GST on the billing and upcoming charging scenario of customers bill.

Airtel India most reliable telecom company recently asked its customers to expect their postpaid bills a week later due to some billing issues. the same was seen and other companies also which were trying to contact their customers, Stating the technical issues within the cycle.

And another significant Telecom player Vodafone is also under the same issue my hands being a certain anger impact of GST on its corporate sector billings and has asked its customers to progress with their company procedures without expecting their bills to generate a week before. It was also seen that many of the corporate customers didn’t submit their GSTN number with the telecom companies which might have given a reasonable factor for issuing the bills late.

It is also seen that the companies are trying to install the software purchase within there routine billing Cycles but as speculated it will be for the delayed to be properly dispatched. An executive associated with the issue mentioned that “A telco will be compelled to push back its billing cycle if there are technical challenges in deploying software patches in its IT/billing systems to reflect the applicable GST rate in all invoices issued from July 1.”
