The Goods and Services Tax Appellate Tribunal (GSTAT), Chennai Bench, has activated a dedicated Help Desk to provide guidance and assistance to stakeholders. This decision has been taken to improve taxpayer facilitation and enhance accessibility to appellate services under the Goods and Services Tax regime.
According to Public Notice F.No. GSTAT/CHENNAI/ADMN./2026-27/ dated 12 June 2026, the Help Desk has been made to assist Chartered Accountants, Advocates, Authorised Representatives, taxpayers and other stakeholders in cases related to the functioning of the Tribunal.
The Help Desk will provide support towards filing of appeals, procedural requirements, case-related queries, and general assistance related to the proceedings before the GSTAT, Chennai Bench. This decision is anticipated to ease seamless interaction between stakeholders and the Tribunal administration.
Stakeholders and members of the public asks for support may approach the Help Desk during office hours from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM on all working days of the Bench. With the below-mentioned address, the Help Desk is temporarily operating at GSTAT, Chennai Bench – 2nd Floor, Narmada Block, Customs House, 60, Rajaji Salai, Chennai – 600001.

Also, the public notice mentioned that the initiative has been launched with the approval of the Vice-President, GSTAT, Tamil Nadu and Puducherry.
