GSTAT Public Notice No. 01/2026: Delhi Bench Begins Operations from Temporary Premises

Public Notice No. 01/2026 for the Delhi State Bench of GSTAT

The Goods and Services Tax Appellate Tribunal (GSTAT) for the Delhi Bench has officially begun its operations. A public notice 01/2026 has been issued to announce the temporary address for the Delhi Bench. This development provides relief to taxpayers and businesses in Delhi.

GST Appeals Jurisdiction of Delhi Bench

The Delhi Bench will manage GST appeals from all districts in the Union Territory of NCR, New Delhi. Thus, GST-related matters under the Central GST Act, 2017, or Delhi State GST laws from this region will be heard here.

Temporary Address of the GSTAT Delhi Bench

The Delhi State Bench is working from a temporary office at the following address:

  • 3rd and 4th Floor, Samrat Hotel, Plot No. S0B, Kautilya Marg, Chankayapuri, New Delhi – 110021.

Under the provisions of the Central Goods and Services Act, 2017, the Delhi bench will hear appeals and GST-related cases from this location.

Where to Submit GST Appeals

Effective immediately, all appeals, applications, and proceedings concerning GST disputes in Delhi must be submitted to the Delhi State Bench of GSTAT. According to the public notice, these submissions must adhere to the GSTAT Procedure Rules, 2025, as well as any other relevant laws.

To access the procedure rules and presidential orders, taxpayers can use the official GSTAT e-filing portal (https://efiling.gstat.gov.in).

If taxpayers encounter any issues during filing appeals, they can:

  • Call the toll-free helpline: 1800-103-4782
  • Raise a ticket through the online help centre on the GSTAT portal.
